Entries are coming in steadily, but we’ve still got plenty of space left. The Watercress Company have offered packs of watercress for all our runners – we’re not sure if they’re going to be able to do smoothies on the day though. I’ve also managed to find some UK produced wooden medals and so we will be offering those to runners too – I have to place the order a few weeks before the race and so they may not be available for those who book late (I’m trying to avoid any wastage). Many thanks to our other sponsors so far, Prospect Fencing (who have supported us since we started 15 years ago) and The Bottom Line accounts and bookkeeping – another local firm supporting local events.
Entries update 22 March
With 12 weeks to go we have, 140 entries so far with more coming in each day. Still plenty of time to enter!

Entries are open!

Alresford 10k Sunday 19th June 2022
This year’s race will be on Sunday 19th June. Entries will be through Active Training World and should open in early March.
All of the timings will be as they have been for the past 15 years. The 10k will start at 1000.
We’re trying to improve our eco credentials and so are planning to repeat the hugely successful locally baked cookies for everyone again this year rather than have medals or T-shirts made in the far east and shipped over here. This also helps keeps our prices down below those of many other similar races.
I’ll try and post regular updates here over the coming months as well as on Facebook – both the Alresford Rotary page and the HRRL page.
Results!
Thanks for running yesterday. The results are here: http://eventchiptiming.com/Results/
We hope to see you next year when things should be a little more normal.
Update Saturday 19th June
Come dressed for the weather and to run…
Just a reminder that everything is outside on Sunday, so come dressed for the weather. Please don’t use the loos to change in – it makes the queues unmanageable.
Please read the runners briefing notes and the UK Athletics participants code of conduct.
Instructions for runners
Entries are now closed and we’re sorting out the entries from last year and this year to get a consolidated list.
We’ll post some instructions for runners here over the next couple of days. Essential things to note: no changing rooms; only portaloos in the car park (please don’t sue the loos for changing!); collect your number on the day; bring a mask; no water point on route – sealed water bottles at the start/finish; baggage area outside – not a secure room this year.
Number collection opens 0830. Race starts at 1000. It will be a spaced out, rolling start; all timings are chip time.
Entries will close at 1200 on Sunday 13th June
We’re closing entries on Sunday to give us time to sort out the admin ready for the run on Sunday 20th June.
There will be no entries on the day – please don’t travel if you haven’t entered in advance.
Runners – you must read Participant Code of Conduct Version 3 April 12 (1)
Update 9 June
We’re still planning to go ahead on 20th June!
We have a few additional places available. Please email rotaryalresford@gmail.com for details.
A reminder that we’ll be operating under a number of restrictions: social distancing; chip timing and a rolling start; no changing rooms; outside baggage area; no water on the course (water available at the start/finish area); no spectators; no medals or T-shirts (sorry); no prize giving ceremony etc
Please read the UK Athletics Participants Code of Conduct before you attend.
