…if you lost a Karrimor or a H2onya water bottle at the run on Sunday, do please get in touch…

Updated results
A couple of minor changes. Here’s an update:
Any more queries do please let me know. Thanks
Initial Results
Thanks to everyone who came along and ran the hottest Alresford 10k ever. It was great to see you all and we raised a lot of money for The Murray Parrish Trust.
The initial results are here:
Remember, this is a manual process and mistakes will be made. There were several duplicate numbers on the results sheets and so I’ve given the best time for those numbers. If you find yourself catapulted up the rankings, let me know. Similarly, if you don’t appear at all, also let me know, preferably with a clue to the sort of time you think you ran.
Humble apologies to Richard Bidgood and Peter Sansome for messing up their prizes – I’m sure you’ll be able to sort things out between you…
Hot! Hot! Hot!
It’s going to be hot tomorrow! Please bring your own water bottles with you. We have 500 bottles on the 10k route and 500 at Alrebury Park, but I need to keep these for the 10k runners. If you are a fun runner, please bring your own water bottle and fill it up from the taps in the changing rooms! I want everybody safe and hydrated!
Just to re-iterate – THE 10K IS FULL – THERE ARE NO ON THE DAY ENTRIES
Updated briefing notes
My apologies to Charters Estate Agents! I left them off the list of sponsors. They provide the kilometre marker boards, the very welcome reuseable water bottles at the finish and have also donated to our charity. Many thanks to them!

10K Full! And a note about fun runs
Well, we’re full up now for the 10k. Thank you all for entering.
The fun runs are administered by the PTA at Sun Hill Junior School. If your child goes to a local school you can get in touch with the PTA and they’ll sort things out ahead of Sunday. There will be plenty of fun run entries on the day, but do please allow time to register. The fun runs are principally for those under 16. The 500m dash is for those under 7; the 1000m run is for ages 7-11 and the 5k run (around part of the 10k course) is really for those under 16. Adults are welcome to run, but we’re going to give the prizes to the young people! We don’t time the fun runs (because they’re fun right?) so please don’t expect any kind of official time.
Last few places left…
Just a few places left now. It’s looking increasingly unlikely that we’ll offer places on the day. We have a hard limit of 500 runners total imposed by our race license and our local authority. With the weather looking promising and you’re thinking about coming along, I would encourage you to sign up soon.
One week to go!
462 entries now. One week to go. Instructions etc will be sent out this week. Alresford Music Festival this weekend. More info tomorrow.
Entries 6 June
We have 440 entries so far. We’re getting close to the point where we might not be able to offer places on the day. If you’re thinking about it, do sign up now. If you’re local, you can get that watercress!
