Charters Estate Agents have once again offered to provide the kilometre markers and their very popular water bottles at the finish line.
Evolution Gym at Perins are going to come along and do the warm up.
Still waiting on the details of the watercress offer for local runners – I’ll keep chasing it…
335 entries so far – many thanks to you all.
Here’s a picture of the T-shirt design. I’ve ordered 300. These will go to the first 300 entries. If you would really really like one and aren’t in the first 300 entries, then I can investigate getting some more, but you’d have to pay for them.
The Watercress Company are offering free bags of watercress for local runners ahead of the race so you can test out whether or not it really does improve performance. I’ll have the details in the next few days, once the Watercress Festival is over.
Itchen Valley Brewery have offered a free pint to all runners in the week after the race. Again, details to follow!
Following the success of last year’s trial event, Four Marks Parish Council in conjunction with Alton Runners are this year holding a 10k, multiterrian run. There will also be a 4k multiterrian run together with a 1k and 100m dash fun runs at Four Marks recreation ground, which you can enter on the day.
All of these runs are will being held as part of “FestiWell”, a joint event between East Hampshire District Council and Four Marks Parish Council, a free all day event to promote health and wellbeing.
We’re looking to offer prizes to people who get the best aggregate placings in both the Alresford and Four Marks 10k races.
You can enter the Four Marks race here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/four-marks-10k-tickets-33364453980
I originally put a limit of 250 T-shirts on the Eventbrite site, but we’ve reached that number of entries unexpectedly early this year and so I’ll extend the T-shirt offer to the first 300 entries. I’ll be ordering them in the next few days… I really will post a picture of the new design over the weekend!
