Initial Results

Here are the preliminary results. It’s a manual process so there will be mistakes, just let me know if you spot one.

Congratulations to all of our age category winners. Those of you who weren’t at the park to collect your prize, I’ll be in touch and we’ll arrange to get it to you if we can.

Many thanks to Philip Scrase and his team of Alton Runners who stepped in at short notice to record the times and to Davina Spinney and the Perins students who typed all of the data in.

Updated race notes

I’ve updated the race notes, the new version is below. The most notable change is an addition from our race adjudicator reminding everyone that under UK Athletics rules, headphones are not permitted during the race. This makes sense really since you’ll be running on roads that are not closed to traffic – especially on the first section of the course through the town – so do please follow the marshals instructions and stay safe! Thanks.

Runner Briefing notes 2016 v1

Online entries closed – limited on the day entries available

The online entries are now closed so we can get the entry list together. We will have a limited number of entries available tomorrow. Registration will open at 0830 and close at 0915. Entries will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please help us by bringing the right entry fees: £13 for UK Athletics Affiliated runners and £15 for non-affiliated runners. Thanks!

The Naked Grape

Many thanks to Simon Evans at the Naked Grape for the water. Simon has supported us every year for the past 9 years. He delivers 500 bottles of water onto the course and another 500 to Arlebury Park at the finish line. He does this for nothing and is totally reliable – an amazing contribution to this community event.

Hair Art

Many thanks to Hair Art in East Street in Alresford. They’ve given us a voucher for a hair care session worth over £65 as a prize to a worthy lady runner. We’ll select a suitable winner on the day.

11 June Update – List of Entrants

Rather slower than hoped – I’ll blame work, but it’s probably just inefficiency. Here is an alphabetical (by last name) list of entries so far – Entries_1200_11Jun16 –  (as of 1200 today – more have come in since). I’ll be allocating the numbers tomorrow and will publish another list later in the week. All numbers will need to be collected on the day please.

Many thanks to everyone who has managed to make the online system work. I was my mistake that you had to enter something in the running club name box, even if you aren’t a running club member. I think I know how to avoid this for next year – we’ll just have to see if I remember.
